CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK 2010 – Feb. 1 - 5

Dear Parents,
Here are the details for our Catholic Schools Week activities that have been planned for this year. First of all, we have planned to collect nonperishable items throughout the week. Half will be for the Food Pantry and, the other half, for Catholic Charities. Here is what we’d like each class to bring. THANKS!
K-1: toothpaste, dish soap, laundry soap, or shampoo
2-3: toilet paper or tissues
4-5: Jello, pudding, soup (chicken noodle, veg., or chili), crackers
6-8: sugar, flour, canned fruit, or fruit juices
Thanks to all who are helping with CSW!!! Here are the big plans for the week:
MONDAY – Opening Mass – Dress up. Students will help with the Mass parts... Valentine’s for Vets. (9:30 – 10:30)
KM – 4T / KE – 4S; 1F – 5M / 1S – 5B
2D – 7B / 2K – 7W; 3H & 3Hu - 8; 6N - Pre-School
TUESDAY – ENRICHMENT CLASS – in the afternoon 1:00 – 2:00. Teacher Appreciation Day.
WEDNESDAY – STUDENT APPRECIATION DAY. READING RULES (“The More You Read, The More You Know”) Ice Cream and free books distributed. CAREER DAY – Have 4 speakers at an assembly in morning. Kids dress up according to what they want to be. NO HOMEWORK DAY.
THURSDAY – ENRICHMENT CLASS – in the afternoon 1:00 – 2:00. Schedule D.E.A.R time at your convenience.
FRIDAY - SCHOOL SPIRIT DAY. Wear Spirit Shirts or SFS sweatshirts with jeans. CLOSING MASS. Assembly in the afternoon to showcase or explain Enrichment Classes at 2:00. OPEN HOUSE – 12:45 until assembly.
