Welcome to the new Music school year!

We are spending time these first weeks reacquainting ourselves with our "good" singing voices, rhythm habits & proper Music Room behavior. I'm enjoying hearing about all the fun things your students have done over the summer.  I also have enjoyed meeting & welcoming the new students to St. Francis.

Each class period has a musical concept to be learned.  I try to reinforce that concept with at least 1 example of EACH of the following activities: singing, rhythm, movement, creativity & discussion.

Even though it is a long way off, my thoughts turn to the the Christmas program in September. As soon as a date in December is finalized, I will post it to this Web site as well as in your Upcoming events sheet that goes home with the students each Friday.

Feel free to come & see me whenever you need to.  I'm always glad to meet my students' parents.
