SMART BOARDS
Smart Boards and Elmos are here and installed in everyone’s classrooms. This is another example of the great support from our parents, parishioners, grandparents and friends. A special thank you goes out to Kim Nixon and Austin’s Army who worked OVERTIME getting all the equipment up and running. Thanks again to everyone for supporting our school.

RECONCILIATION PREP MEETINGS
If your child is in 2nd grade and will be making their first reconciliation, please mark your calendars for the mandatory preparation meetings.
October 10th from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
November 14th from 4p.m. – 6 p.m.

SCHOOL PICTURE DAY – September 23rd
School pictures will be taken on Thursday, September 23rd, for students in 3 year old preschool and grades Kindergarten – 8th. (4 year old preschool will be scheduled on a later date when retakes are scheduled.) Please be on the look out for more information soon.

OPEN HOUSE/FIRST HOME & SCHOOL MEETING
Please join us in an Open House/Meet the Teacher Night and Home and School Meeting.
When: Tuesday, September 14,
Grades 1 – 2 6:00 p.m. – 6:20 p.m.
Grades 3 – 5 6:20 p.m. – 6:40 p.m.
Grades 6 – 8 6:40 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
This is an informal meet the teacher night, not a formal conference. It is set up for you to come and see your child’s classroom and meet their teacher. If you have concerns about your child, please schedule an appointment for a different time, since this time is limited and the teachers would like to be available to meet all of the parents.
The Home and School Meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. This will be an informational meeting about the various committees and volunteer service hour opportunities. For those of you who are new to our school, the Home and School is our version of PTA.
